The second season two of Nick Jr.’s Emmy-winning animated preschool comedy series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! will return with a week of brand-new episodes starting Monday, Aug. 18 at 8:00 a.m. (ET/PT). Kicking off with the premiere episode ‘Who’s That Girl?’/'Wubbzy’s Big Move,’ the show will air regularly Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. on Nick Jr. and throughout the day on sister network NOGGIN.
In the new season, preschoolers will join Wubbzy, Widget and Walden on new comical adventures and meet the new girl in town, Daizy. Daizy lives in a flower-shaped house next door to Wubbzy. The independent and spunky six-year-old girl loves rainbows, princesses and unicorns, and shares Wubbzy’s love for fun and discovery. Also featured in the second season is figure-skating champion Michelle Kwan as the voice of renowned athlete and Wubblympics record-holder, Michelle Kwanzzleberry and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition host Ty Pennington as the voice of Ty Ty the Handy Guy. In addition, the gang will go ‘green’ in several episodes as they learn the importance of re-using bottles, gardening and saving trees.
Nick Jr. will roll out content from the second season of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! across various platforms. Nick Jr. Video on Nickjr.com will begin streaming a two-minute sneak peek from the season two premiere episode, as well as animated shorts and instant replays of the premiere week episodes. The sneak peek will also be made available on wireless carriers, and Nickjr.com will feature an interactive game titled Daizy’s Kickity-Kick Ball and other activities to complement the season two launch.
