The scientifically minded aliens of The Zula Patrol have a new home today. MarVista Entertainment has acquired the international distribution rights to the CG-animated children’s show that airs on U.S. public TV stations. The 26 X 30 package will make its international debut at next month’s MIPTV market in France, according to Fernando Szew, managing director and COO of MarVista Entertainment.
“The Zula Patrol has what our clients are looking for’it’s entertaining, funny, zany and just a great series’ commented Szew. ‘We know the strong characters and creative storylines will resonate with viewers everywhere and will be a big hit for us.’
Targeting three- to eight-year-old, The Zula Patrol offers a fun way to learn about the solar system and science. It is exec produced by Dr. Deborah Manchester and Beth Hubbard, and penned by the Emmy-nominated writing team of Cydne Clark and Steve Grant (Disney’s Doug, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Dennis The Menace).
