Ian Jones, managing director of production and rights management firm Target Entertainment, is leaving his job in a restructuring of the company.
Jones will continue to work the next few weeks with CEO and founder Allison Rayson as he transitions out of the company, which he joined 18 months ago.
The restructuring is intended to help the company better weather current economic conditions.
‘This is both a hugely challenging time for the economy and also a transitional time for the media sector. As such I am making some changes to Target’s structure to ensure we are well positioned once the recovery begins,’ says Rayson. ‘Ian and I have worked very closely together over the last 18 months and he has made an invaluable contribution to the business.’
‘I’m truly sorry to be leaving Target at this time and would relish the opportunity to work with the team again,’ says Jones.
