Target Entertainment has secured a new multiregion broadcast deal with Nickelodeon for Chapman Entertainment’s preschool series Fifi and the Flowertots.

The show’s first series of 52 10-minute episodes will be shown by Nick across Europe in such markets as Benelux, Scandinavia, Germany, Spain and Italy; in the Middle East; Asia, including India; Africa; Latin America and New Zealand. The deal was brokered by Cecilie Olsen, sales manager at Target Entertainment.

“We are very proud or our loveable flowertot series,” says Andrew Haydon, commercial and financial director at Chapman. “Since launch, Fifi has continued to bloom and through this fantastic deal with Nickelodeon, we can bring fiddly flower petal fun in 2011 to children in new territories around the world.”

Target also has added two new sales execs, appointing Imrun Islam as senior sales executive overseeing Spain, Portugal, the eastern Mediterranean, Africa and Benelux. She comes to the company from Steadfast International.

The company also hired Kanwal Hayer a senior sales executive with responsibility for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Middle East, Israel and Asia. He joins from Zodiak Entertainment.
