Studio100 Merges German Subsidiaries

Studio100 has decided to merge its German subsidiaries Studio100 Media, EM.Entertainment and Junior.TV.

The Belgian media company will have all three operate under the name of Studio100 Media, which will continue to operate as a producer and distributor of family and children’s entertainment.

Studio100 Media, based in Munich, will continue to be active as an international production and distribution company within the children’s and family entertainment sector.

Among Studio100 Media’s co-productions are the puppet series Big and Small (52 x 11 minutes), produced by Kindle Entertainment in co-operation with Studio100, BBC, Treehouse TV and 3J’s Productions; Kerwhizz (26 x 22 minutes), a quiz show for preschool children made in conjunction with CBeebies.

In addition, NICK Germany and Studio100 are producing the hit mystery teen soap The House of Anubis (114 x 12 minutes), NICK’s most successful and largest production to date.

‘Our company produces and markets top-class, non-violent and above all highly entertaining formats,’ says Patrick Elmendorff, managing director of Studio100 Media. ‘The key element of our success is clearly the popularity of our program brands.’
