Spidey Tops Teletoon Retro’s Crush List

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Teleteoon Retro fans have picked their favorite Top 5 Crushes of all time, which will be inducted into the Teletoon Retro Hall of Fame. Spider-Man is the top vote-getter, followed by Batman (Batman: The Animated Series) at No. 2, Smurfette (The Smurfs) at 3, Superman (The New Adventures of Superman) at No. 4 and She-Ra (She-Ra: Princess of Power) at No. 5.

Between January 23 and February 12, viewers visited www.teletoonretro.com and www.facebook.com/TeletoonRetro to rank their cartoon crushes from a list of 33 heartthrobs that included He-Man, Betty Rubble and Pepé Le Pew.

To celebrate the newly inducted Top 5 Crushes, TELETOON Retro will air a special programming marathon featuring all five winners as part of the “Retro Rewind” programming block on Sunday, February 19 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
