Skywriter, Mixer to Co-produce Vivi for TVO

Toronto-based Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group and Brazilian studio Mixer have agreed to co-produce a new children’s animated series called Vivi for the Canadian educational broadcaster TVO.

The series for ages 5-7 will combine 2D cutout animation with live action. Mixer will do the animation while Skywriter handles pre- and post-production and distribution. Kate Barris is attached the project as executive story editor.

Series is about a curious artistic girl who creates inspirational souvenirs from the diverse cultures she encounters on her travels with her grandmother.

The digital scrapbook of her travels will inspire children to play and interact with the world around them.’
