Return of ‘Beavis and Butt-Head’ a Hit for MTV
“Heh-heh-heh-heh, they missed us!”
The return of Beavis and Butt-Head with original episodes after 14 years away was a hit for MTV.
The debut Thursday of new episodes earned the network 3.3 million overall viewers and a 2.5 rating for adults 12-34 and a 3.4 for males 12-34.
Beavis and Butt-Head kicked off a new hour of animation for MTV that also included the premiere of Good Vibes, a new animated comedy about a New Jersey teen trying to make sense of his new California beach hometown. The debut earned a 1.4 reating in the 12-34 age range and 1.6 million viewers.
