Disney XD is serving up a special Pranksgiving episode of its news series Packages from Planet X on Monday (Nov. 4). The new prank-themed show finds Dan receiving a package that allows him to enter dreams and “prank them.” So he turns Troll into a ballerina; Amanda into an aggressive video game player and his evil villain, Copernicus, into a show tune-singing kitty lover. The special episode airs at 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 4.

Packages from Planet X centers on the adventures of 15-year-old Dan Zembrosky from the bizarre town of Iron Bay who suddenly receives strange, cryptic packages from an evil alien planet. The packages arrive in various forms and Dan and his two best friends use them to their own advantage, whether it be to make the soccer team, pass a test to avoid summer school or get out of trouble, all while keeping the mysterious contraptions out of the hands of Copernicus, an evil alien who is plotting to take over the world.

The show is created by Jeff Harter (Care Bears: Big Wish Movie) and exec produced by Chris Bartleman, Steven DeNure, Kirsten Newlands, Jeffrey Conrad, Sean Gorman and Ryan Wiesbrock. It features the voice talent of Vincent Tong as Dan, Ty Olsson as Troll, Britt Irvin as Amanda and Brian as Copernicus. Packages is a DHX Media Inc. Production in association with Teletoon, American Greetings and The Walt Disney Company Limited.
