New DECODE Shows Picked Up by ABC Austrailia

Backed by established hits like Angela Anaconda and Olliver’s Adventures, DECODE Ent. has sold three new shows to The Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The Aussie outlet will air the adventure series King, the tween comedy GirlStuff BoyStuff and the 3D pre-school actioner Save-Ums! on its ABC Kids blocks in 2003.

Aimed at kids 8-12, the 2D animated series King follows the adventures of a boy who discovers a portal under his bed which takes him to a kingdom where he rules. The series is a co-production between DECODE and Funbag Prods.

GirlStuff BoyStuff is an animated take on reality shows that eavesdrops on six young teens and humorously explores how boys and girls react differently to the same events. The series is a Canada/Hong Kong/U.K. co-production with DECODE, Agogo Ent. and Animage Films Ltd.

Save-Ums revolves around a team of pre-school superheroes who encourage creative problem solving, nurture an interest in technology, educate on the principles of cause and effect and reinforce the importance of cooperation. DECODE is producing the show, which was created by Dan Clark of the Dan Clark Company (Brats of the Lost Nebula).
