Kids’ entertainment house Moonscoop has announced it has wrapped a new broadcast deal for its animated preschool series Chloe’s Closet to air on the U.K.’s Channel 5 Milkshake! block starting this spring. Season two of the series, comprising 52 x 11 new episodes, will launch at MIPTV next month (Moonscoop can be found at Booth R27.18 in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes). For the Channel 5 launch, Chloe will join the Milkshake! presenter in the studio to help read out birthday cards, join in with the Milkshake! dances and introduce the new episodes. There will also be a special competition.
The HD Flash and CG-animated Chloe’s Closet takes young viewers on pre-k friendly, imaginative adventures to countries like India, china and Brazil, allowing Chloe and her friends to wear costumes of diverse ethnic and cultural traditions. In season one, Chloe and pals also dress up as pop stars, astronauts, princesses, veterinarians, superheroes and woodland fairies. Series two costumes include a gymnast, tennis player, zookeeper and movie star.
