Monster Distributes wrapped up a successful trip to the Annecy Int’l Festival of Animation with deals to bring its animated series, Kids Ten Commandments, to U.K broadcaster ITV and Kika in Germany. The company is also enjoying continued success with Adam Elliot’s Oscar-winning short, Harvey Krumpet, which it picked up after its award-winning appearance at Annecy last year.
Monster snatched up Kids Ten Commandments at NATPE. The company also recently acquired a half-hour series tentatively entitled Antenna Adventures, featuring a group of bugs who tell Old Testament stories. The show will be completed in time for MIPCOM.
Another religiously themed property in the Monster catalog is The Storykeepers, which sold in 108 countries to become one of the most successful biblical animated series ever. The company also distributes the Hermie and Friends series of 3D specials, as well as the Christmas specials The Christmas Storykeepers, The Christmas Lamb, The Legend of the Candy Cane and The Legend of the 3 Trees.
Among other recent sales, Monster unloaded Brown Bag’s pre-school series, Why?, on Animania in the U.S.
