Mickey’s plucky gal pal Minnie Mouse will showcase her passion for fashion in her own short-form series Minnie’s Bow-Toons from Disney Television Animation, which will launch with a week’s worth of new episodes Monday, November 14 through Saturday, November 19 on Disney Channel (8:55 a.m.) and DisneyJunior.com, where fans can log on to disneyjunior.com/Minnie to get exclusive first-looks at the next day’s episode following the TV premiere.
The new shorts series is based on Disney Junior’s Emmy-nominated CG series Micky Mouse Clubhouse and will follow Minnie and her pal Daisy Duck running Minnie’s Bow-Tique, a specialty bow and bow-tie shop. Minnie has a bow (or bow-tie) for every occasion and situation, whether a rubber bow to fix a leaky pipe or shredded bows to make pom-poms for a cheerleader.
In honor of Minnie’s birthday weekend (the character first appeared in 1928’s Steamboat Willie), Disney Junior will air a block-long marathon featuring the new shorts and episodes of Clubhouse starring Minnie on Friday Nov. 18 (8:55 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) and Saturday Nov. 19 (6:30 – 9 a.m.).
