Millimages’ Toons Rule at NATPE Budapest

European production and distribution company Millimages has had a successful market at the recent NATPE Budapest content market.

TeleOne in the Ukraine has picked up kids’ animated shows Bugged (52 x 7’), Monk (52 x 3’) and Corneil & Bernie series 1 & 2 (104 x 13’), while Orlando Kids in Croatia has also acquired Bugged and Monk.

There was also a strong interest in Millimages’ pre-school slate in Slovenia with RTV picking up international hit animated properties Mouk and the first two series of Louie as well as two TV special (series 1 and 2 39 x 07’’each) and Pro Plus is on board for 64 Zoo Lane (3 series of 26 x 11’ each) and Lazy Lucy (52 x 5’). In addition, 64 Zoo Lane has also been secured by ETV ERR in Estonia which has also acquired pre-school animated series Jasper the Penguin (52 x 5’) and in Latvia, LTV has taken the free television broadcast rights to Mouk and Louie.

“Our library of new and catalogue titles continues to be popular across Central and Eastern Europe, which is a key region of growth for us,” says Hanna Mouchez, Millimages’ co-productions and sales exec. “We’re delighted that our popular animated shows will be seen by new audiences in these territories.”
