Kids WB! Gets More Static

Kids’ WB! has picked up a fourth season of the animated adventure series Static Shock from Warner Bros. Animation. An additional 13 original episodes will air six days a week, Monday through Saturday, during the 2003-2004 season.

Based on the Milestone/DC Comics property, Static Shock follows the adventures of the first African-American teen animated superhero and continues to confront real problems and issues faced by today’s kids.

Static Shock will kick off its fourth season in winter 2004, bringing its total number of episodes to 52. Since its debut in September 2000, the series has received high ratings, ranking No. 2 with boys 6-11 for the 2002-2003 season.
