Kids’ WB! Debuts Three for 2003-2004

I>Kids’ WB! is adding three new animated series to its Saturday morning and weekday slates for the 2003-2004 television season. While continuing to reinforce its "year-round" programming strategy, the cabler will offer the series Megaman: NT Warrior,Xiaolin Showdown and Teen Titans.

Produced by ShoPro Ent., Megaman: NT Warrior (working title) is set in a futuristic world where virtually all technology is linked to a central computer system and citizens interface with this network using their personal "NetNavis" (Net Navigators). When hackers and high-tech computer crimes threaten their lives and the entire universe, a boy named Lan and his NetNavi, Mega Man, must save the computer-generated world and protect the town. The series will kick off this summer.

Xiaolin Showdown, produced by Warner Bros. Animation, will premiere this fall. The mystical comedy adventure series follows the epic journey of four young monks who employ the ancient art of Shaolin Kung Fu to protect the world from villainous adversaries in gravity-defying showdowns.

Teen Titans features Robin The Boy Wonder teaming up with fellow teen superheroes Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire and Raven to protect the Earth from a new generation of villains – all while coping with the tribulations of adolescence. As

they struggle to control their powers, these teen crime fighters must learn

to work and grow as a team despite their "stylistic" differences.

The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation.

Kids’ WB! has also picked up new seasons of Sony Pictures Family Ent.’s Jackie Chan Adventures and Marvel Studios/Film Roman’s X-Men: Evolution for the 2003-2004 season.

The new Saturday line-up will also be highlighted by 52 new installments of Yu-Gi-Oh! and the next evolution of the Pokémon franchise, along with sophomore breakout series What’s New Scooby-Doo?, Ozzy & Drix and ¡Mucha Lucha!
