IFC Develops Cartoon Show from Augenblick

IFC has announced it is developing an animated series from Augenblick Studios as part of a new slate of shows under its “Always On. Slightly Off” tagline.

Called simply Cartoon Show, the series is about a large cast of iconic cartoon characters who try to produce a variety show for television.

Augenblick is the New York-based studio behind Comedy Central’s Ugly Americans and the Adult Swim series Superjail.

The show is one of eight the channel is developing as part of its new slate.
