The series Mimi and the Gang (26 X 6), a spin off of Icon Animation’s Mimi and Mr. Bobo (26 X 26), has been acquired by Spain’s RTVE and Fox Kids Channel, which are currently airing Mimi and Mr. Bobo. RTVE plans to air the new series in September on its newly created kid’s programming format called El país de la luna lunera. Fox Kids will broadcast it from October through pay TV platform Digital +.

The story follows the adventures of Mimi and her five friends, who form a local gang and cause mayhem throughout the city. Shopkeepers, rock stars, reality shows hosts … no one is safe.

Icon has also struck Scandinavian deals for the heart-warming CG animated film The Living Forest. OY FIP-Future Film has picked it up and plans to release it theatrically by the end of this year in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland.
