Hub Plans Heroic Labor Day, ‘Aquabats’ Sweeps
This Labor Day, The Hub will be celebrating with the addition of three popular action series for kids and their parents, as well as a chance to win one of six $1,000 back-to-school shopping sprees! Starting Monday, September 3 live-action series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Sliders and the critically lauded toon Superman: The Animated Series will premiere on The Hub, joinging a special Labor Day marathon and sweepstakes for popular original series The Aquabats! Super Show!
The Aquabats! Super Show! ‘thon will run from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 3 and feature six back-to-back episodes of the outrageous, musical comedy-adventure series about the greatest crime-fighting rock band ever assembled! On-air messages during the marathon will reveal a code and toll-free number for the sweepstakes. Six randomly chosen viewers who call will each win a $1,000 back-to-school shopping spree. The Aquabats! Super Show!
Superman: The Animated Series will air at 9 a.m. Mondays through Fridays on the network after launching on Labor Day along with Sliders (10-11 p.m., Mon.-Thurs.) and Hercules (11 p.m.-Midnight, Mon.-Thurs.).
