Henson, XtrackerZ Mix Puppetry and Animation for Live TV

Steve Edwards, Dorothy Lucey and Jillian Barberie have had some interesting characters on their syndicated morning news and entertainment show Good Day Live! But tomorrow’s guest, a wisecracking digital character by the name of Satan, is a first. The pixilated prince of dark humor will be brought to life through the magic of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and XtrackrZ.

XtrackerZ combines real-time motion capture with real-time digital puppeteering to generate a live CG animation performance. Satan will entertain and inform the audience about the use of performance animation in today’s video games, feature films and episodic titles. The show will air at 9:00 a.m. on Fox.
