Mike Young Productions (MYP) announced that its highly-rated, action-adventure, animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe will bring the Power of Grayskull to seven new international TV broadcasters. Currently airing on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and YTV in Canada, the series will also be seen on GMTV (U.K.), Cartoon Network (Latin America), Televisa (Mexico), Alter Channel (Greece), Childrens Channel 6 (Israel), VTV4 (Belgium), and MTV3 (Finland).
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, based on the legendary ’80s cartoon series phenomenon, premiered last August in the U.S. on Cartoon Network with a 90-minute movie special revealing the never-before-told story of how Prince Adam became the most powerful man in the universe. The movie was the highest-rated program on all cable outlets in its time period among boys 6-11, boys 9-14, men 18-24 and all viewers 12-24.
Each of the 26 episodes follows 16-year-old Prince Adam, as his alter ego, He-Man, and the rest of the Masters of the Universe as they defend Castle Grayskull and all of Eternia from the tyrannical Skeletor and his Evil Warriors.
