Fox Orders Up Series of Bob’s Burgers

Production is under way on Bob’s Burgers, a new half-hour Fox animated comedy series from Loren Bouchard and Jim Dauterive.

The series is about a man who runs a family restaurant with his high-strung wife and three slacker kids. Bouchard (Dr. Katz, Home Movies and Lucy: Daughter of the Devil) and Dauterive, of King of the Hill, will serve as executive producers and show runners, reports Variety.

Produced by 20th Century Fox TV, the show would be added to the network’s Sunday-night ‘Animation Domination’ block.

Deals are still being negotiated for the voice cast, which for the producers’ presentation to the network included H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman and Dan Mintz.
