Leading U.K. independent children’s media company V&S Entertainment is gearing up to launch the third season of its international animated hit, Everything’s Rosie, at the MIPCOM market (Oct. 3-6). Season 3 will bring the total episode count to 78 and continue the adventures of Rosie, her best friend Raggles and other colorful characters. The show is currently airing in over 150 territories.
V&S has also announced that French public broadcaster France Television has picked up the first two seasons of the show and will begin airing it under the title La Vie de Rosie later this fall on subsidiary channel France 5’s Zouzous block. “I think that it is very important that an animated series encourages good relationships and friendship, and La Vie de Rosie is a very positive show,” said France Television acquisitions director Christine Reinaudo.
Vickie Corner, managing director at V&S who made the joint announcements, added: “We are delighted that France Television has joined the fast-growing band of global broadcasters. The multi-territory success of the first two series has firmly placed Rosie on the international radar.”
Everything’s Rosie (52 x 11) is an HD CG-animated series aimed at 3- to 6-year olds, which follows the adventures of Rosie and her friend Raggles through their playful, contemporary environment that blends modern design with eco-friendly themes, learning the true value of friendship.
