DECODE, Sunwoo USA In Co-production Deal

Newly formed Sunwoo USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Korean animation company Sunwoo Ent., has finalized a co-production deal with Canada-based DECODE Ent.

The two companies will first collaborate on the 2D series B-Bot vs. the Alien Posse, about a small but powerful robot given human characteristics and the task of foiling the plots of a nutcase alien living on a neighboring asteroid.

The concept, created and developed by Sunwoo’s commercial division for an advertising campaign, caught the attention of DECODE at a previous MIPCOM Jr. Both companies are back this year screening a jointly produced pilot from which they plan to launch 52×11 episodes.
