Robot Chicken producers ShadowMachine have sold the pilot for a series that would feature original animated comedy shorts to Comedy Central, reports Deadline.com.

The site reports that the still-untitled series will feature microseries from different creators and the animation will feature styles ranging from 2D and CG to stop-motion. Hit installments on the series could become full-length series of their own.

Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico of ShadowMachine and writer-director Tom Gianas are executive producers on the series.
