Classic Spider-Man Series Restored

If the home video release of last summer’s box office smash has you once again caught up in "Spider-Mania," you’ll be happy to know that Buena Vista International Television (BVI-TV) is polishing up the original 1967 Spider-Man animated series.

The rarely seen Marvel Classic Spider-Man series will be remastered to a high definition format from the original 35mm film negatives. The original English soundtrack, including the memorable title song, will be renovated and a new music & effects track added.

Classic Spider-Man and other Spider-Man animated series from the ‘70s ‘80s and ‘90s are part of the Fox Kids Europe (FKE) and BVS portfolios (formerly known as Saban), of which BVI-TV services the distribution.

No airdate for the restored 52×30 series has been announced.
