Broadcast rights to Egmont Imagination’s zany animated stunt-action series, The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers, have been picked up by Nickelodeon’s U.S. and Europe outlets, Cartoon Network Japan, ABC Australia and Astral Quebec in Canada.
A recent winner of the “Prix Des Internautes” (People’s Choice) award at the 26th Annecy International Animation Festival, this 2D Flash series is a co-production of creative team The POX and animation house Pesky, with Egmont Imagination in charge of worldwide distribution.
Hailing from the mysterious land of Réndøosîa, the three Adrenalini brothers, Xan, Adi and Enk, eat, sleep and breathe danger. In each episode, they attempt a series of absurd stunts, with comic results. Adding to their appeal to international audiences is their entirely made-up Réndøosîan language.
The recent acquisitions come on the heels of the series’ initial CBBC commission. Egmont Imagination and the show’s producers are already looking into securing funds for a second slate of episodes.
