Spain-based BRB Internacional will be unveiling its new series Khuda-Yana, an animated show co-produced by Screen 21 and TVE, at the upcoming Mip Jr. and MIPCOM conferences.

The series consists of 26 half-hours set to start airing in 2012. The series is about a street thief named Khuda who learns his destiny is to become the king of Kosala. With the help of a genie named Blue Girl, he will attempt to transform from thief to responsible leader.

The adventures of Khuda range from the fantastic to the mundane as he must learn how to behave at the table, to study law, tame gigantic monsters and even take a shower every day. His adventures are set in the city of Kosala, which mixes references from Bombay to New York with stops in old Alexandria, Renaissance Venice, Athens and Tokyo.
