Boomerang Throws Big Holiday Cartoon Party

If you can’t get enough of classic holiday animation, be prepared to tune your television to Boomerang this season.

The commercial-free classic cartoon channel will present holiday cartoons all month long, starting with two-hour blocks every Saturday and Sunday starting at 4 p.m.

The channel also will present a marathon block starting at 4 p.m. Christmas Eve, running all through Christmas Day and wrapping up at 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 26.

The holiday classics cover a broad range of animation history, from the 1930s to the 21^st century and features dozens of characters from Popeye to Papa Smurf.

Here’s the schedule for the marathon block.
