MTV made it official at its up-fronts: Beavis and Butt-head are back!

The network broke the news with a tweet from teenage pop star Justin Beiber and an appearance from the cast of the controversial series Skins.

The animated duo are set to return sometime this summer.

Beavis and Butt-head was an animation powerhouse in its time, with 200 episodes produced for MTV between 1993 and 1997, an animated feature film in 1996 and countless merchandise and spinoff item, including the animated series Daria. Their most recent appearance was in the feature film Jackass 3-D.

Created by Mike Judge, who voiced most of the characters, the animated nitwits rose to fame playing frog baseball and talking over some of the worst music videos of the era.
