They crawled out of the sewer in the late ’80s to take the world by storm. Now The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming back with all-new adventures to air every Saturday morning only on the all-new FOX BOX beginning Saturday Feb. 8.
The same team that transformed Peter Laird’s and Kevin Eastman’s popular comic book property into a hit animated series over a decade ago are back to relaunch the franchise. Laird will serve as Creative Director/Consultant with Norman Grossfeld Gary Richardson and Frederick U. Fierst serving as exec. producers.
Grossfeld comments, “The all-new TMNT takes its main inspiration from the original comic books, where the storylines, characterization and graphic look and feel of the comic were smart and cool.”
In addition to Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello, rat ninja master Splinter and arch villian Shredder will be back in action. The series will also feature new allies and foes.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles joins the FOX BOX slate of animated series that includes Ultraman Tiga, Ultimate Muscle, Kirby and Fighting Foodons.
