Al Jazeera Creates Animation Series

Qatar-based Al Jazeera Children’s Channel is developing a 3D animated series called Salaheldine.

The ongoing series, about a hero who pursues a dream of uniting his people in battle and delivering them from enemies, is set for release next year. The series is being produced by JCC and Malaysia, with support from the Qatar Foundation, at a cost of $15 million.

The series is set for release next year and will be released in English and Arabic in Qatar first, then later worldwide.
