Jackson Publick is going to make everyone’s Halloween a little more spooky this year. The creator of Adult Swim’s cult favorite The Venture Bros. has cooked up a new Halloween-themed special of the show, which will premiere on Cartoon Network on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 11:30 p.m.

Created and directed by Publick and written by Publick and Doc Hammer, both of whom also provide voices for the special, A Very Venture Halloween is produced by Titmouse, Inc. The Halloween episode features a spooky score by JG Thirlwell.

The Venture Bros. first premiered on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim on February 16, 2003. The offbeat toon centers on the adventures of incompetent brothers Hank and Dean Venture, their ethically challenged scientist father Dr. Thaddeus Rusty Venture, the family’ bodyguards and the family’s arch-nemesis the Monarch. The fifth season of the show will debut in early 2013.
