ABC Kids Stitches Up Fall Slate

ABC Television Network’s Saturday morning block, ABC Kids, rolls out its new fall lineup on Saturday, September 20. The schedule will include Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, The Series, a spin-off of last summer’s hit animated feature from Disney. The show will join returning Disney toons like Recess and Kim Possible.

Lilo & Stitch will start off the morning in the 8:00 a.m. slot, followed by Disney’s Recess, Disney’s Fillmore, The Proud Family, Lizzie McGuire, That’s So Raven, Disney’s Kim Possible and back-to-back episodes of Power Rangers Ninja Storm. NBA Inside Stuff will finish off the block at 12:30 p.m.

Produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, The Series has the little blue alien living on Earth with Lilo and her extended “family.” The animated cast of characters includes big sister Nani, friend David and social worker Cobra Bubbles, as well as aliens Jumba and Pleakley (posing as Lilo’s uncle and aunt).

In a series of unfortunate accidents, Dr. Jumba’s other 625 experiments land on Hawaii and are activated one by one. The show follows Lilo and Stitch as they search out these experiments to help change their nature from bad to good and find places where each can belong and contribute to the community.
