American Greetings Entertainment, the IP and outbound licensing division of American Greetings, has teamed up with Sky UK-owned social content producer Diagonal View to manage the official Buddy Thunderstruck YouTube channel. The stop-motion series animated by Emmy-winning Stoopid Buddy Stoodios premiered in March as a Netflix Original Series.
Launched on the heels of the premiere, the Buddy Thunderstruck YouTube channel features highlights from the 12-episode first season, starring semi-truck racing dog Buddy Thunderstruck and his albino ferret BFF (and trusted mechanic), Darnell Fetzervalve. The channel will also showcase compilations of quotable clips like fan-favorites “Fart Nugget!” and “Blame it on the Thunder!” and original music videos including “So Pumped!” and “Super Cute Boy.”
Content will be produced by Diagonal View in partnership with CAKE through their joint venture, Popcorn Digital, with the aim of extending the show’s digital brand presence, giving audiences access to exclusive content, and building the social buzz with fans.
