Santo Domingo Animation

Santo Domingo Animation, was formed earlier this year to bring quality animated concepts to all screens. SDA is under the umbrella of Santo Domingo Films, an award winning, live action feature film studio located in Mexico City, Mexico. SDF was established 5 years ago and has already completed eight live action features.

SDA and SDF have completed one animated feature, SABEL: REDEMPTION with Ithrax Productions, and are producing BRIJES:The Movie and BRIJES: The Series.

BRIJES: The Movie
Freddy and his two best friends will have to bond with their Brijes, magical animal spirits, in order to save the world and reestablish the New Alliance.

When Freddy and his two best friends, Alexa and Toto, discover the Brije Codex during a school visit to the Museum of Man on Freddy’s birthday, it comes alive and shows the kids that they are the Chosen Ones destined to reestablish the Alliance between humans and Brijes once again. They will do this by assembling the Brije Codex itself first. They will have to bond with their Brijes and travel throughout History using the Codex as a time portal to find the clues to the missing part. BRIJES: The Movie is currently in development as a 2D animated feature film and will be going into production immediately. SDA is seeking worldwide distribution; Theatrical, DVD, VOD and/or television. This film will be available both in Spanish and in English and is targeted to 8 year and up.

BRIJES: The Animated Television Series
Is based on the movie and continue the adventures of Freddy, Alexa and Toto in their quest to reestablish the New Alliance. They will accomplish this by finding the Brije Codex missing Stones. They will have to bond with their Brijes and travel throughout History using the Codex as a time portal to find the stones. BRIJES The Television Series, is currently in development, and is an action adventure, time-travel story targeted for the 8 – 11 year old. SDA is seeking partners for production and distribution.

SABEL: REDEMPTION is ready to show. This 82-minute traditionally animated film is a time travel love story suited for a more adult audience. The love story takes place in two separate times, 1490 and 2194.
