SplutterFish, Blur Studio Render Art Institute Lecture

As part of its Animation 2003 Lecture Series, The Art Institute of California, Los Angeles will host an evening entitled: "High-End 3D Rendering Capabilities Illuminated" on Thursday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m. The session will be presented by 3D rendering software provider SplutterFish LLC and visual effects facility Blur Studio, and sponsored by Animation Magazine.

SplutterFish will illustrate the latest technical advancements of its Brazil Rendering System, a fully-integrated rendering suite for Discreet’s top-selling animation software 3ds max.

Blur Studio will demonstrate how it maximized Brazil r/s and its enhanced Brazil Toon features in production, including the upcoming, SpongeBob SquarePants 3-D ride film. The five-minute computer-animated attraction is based on the hugely popular Nickelodeon series is scheduled to launch soon at Paramount Parks.
