Discovery Education Picks Up Sid the Science Kid

The Jim Henson Co.’s animated preschooler series Sid the Science Kid is coming to the classroom through a deal with Discovery Education Science for Elementary.

The animated series and its 40 half-hour episodes will be made available through the education service in the next few months.

The series airs on PBS Kids and is based on national science learning standards.

Discovery Education provides digital resources to schools and homes to help teachers, and students by connecting them with entertaining and engaging educational content.
