With hit features like Shrek 2, The Incredibles, Shark Tale and The Polar Express dominating the box office, 2004 was a big year for animation. How do you think 2005 is going to stack up? Any predictions?

Anonymous : Tuesday, February 15, 2005 Really looking forward to seeing Howl's Moving Castle, the next offering from Miyazaki. Saw the trailer to Robots...the one-liners are a tad tired. And of course, greatly looking forward to Pixar's CARS!
Anonymous : Wednesday, January 19, 2005 There are some pretty interesting animated features coming in 2005. Madagascar has a stylish look that hasn't been seen in CG. Robots and Chicken Little seem like fun. The ones I am really looking forward to are Cars and the Wallace and Gromit movie. It's nice to have two masters like John Lasseter and Nick Park back in the game after so long. All in all it looks like a good year for animation. Now, if only someone came up with a really good 2-D feature...
Anonymous : Wednesday, January 19, 2005 We have seen continued success with 3D animation over the past year. I sense that with the onslaught of productions set for release in 2005, we may see some major let downs. When everyone gets overly excited about the technology, they tend to miss the story.
Anonymous : Sunday, January 16, 2005 I think movie competition in general, aka. elbow room, is going to be fierce because of the giants arriving in early summer;
1) Episode III
2) Fantastic Four
3) Batman Begins
I have a feeling these powerhouse draws are going to overshadow most of what's comming out in the animation field for 05'.
