I'm hoping for a huge success, so we'll see that 2D animated features are NOT dead, and it's just a matter of good characters, and good storytelling that determines success.

Anonymous : Sunday, November 21, 2004 Spongebob has a psuedo-Ren and Stimpy appeal with Gen X-ers (such as myself) I probably wont bother with a theater ticket and wait for cable.

Anonymous : Thursday, November 18, 2004 AYE AYE, CAPTAIN! (I can't heeeear you) AYE AYE, CAPTAIN!
Anonymous : Thursday, November 18, 2004 Probably not, but if it comes out in Australia, I'll have a look. I think it's an interesting question - branding of a series can have a big effect on its appeal to an audience. However this can be a bad thing because there's some shocking stuff out there that's marketed very well and therefore people will see it cos it's in their face, and you get some wonderful stuff that sadly is not marketed well and thusly does not do well in terms of popularity and earnings.
