Without wanting to be a purist, I agree that Motion Capture is not animation. However, whether you love it or hate it MoCap is a valid method of film production. Some is good, some less so. This trailer seemed like the pre-play sequence on a computer game. Hopefully, the finished film will be better because Beowulf is a great story.

Good to see photorealistic humans but story is king. So if they arent able to make it engaging for the audience I think it will land up as another final fantasy box office flop.
