Send in your short animated film today and have your work seen by thousands of animation fans!GameX (Games & Media Expo) in Philadelphia, PA, U.S. presents its debut GameX Animation Festival, screening in the GameX Theater on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24.
Featured films include \"La Main des Maîtres, an instant steampunk classic directed at Georges Méliès School in France, plus a sneak peek screening of \"War of the Worlds: Goliath\", a 90-minute animated steampunk epic sequel to the classic novel by H.G. Wells, due out in 2010.
Want to have your animation in our show? Get it on a DVD and send it off! There is no entry fee for the festival, but space is limited. We are looking for short animated films based on video games, comic books, sci-fi, horror or fantasy or steampunk genres.!
Deadline for mailed film entries is Monday, October 5. If your film is accepted, you will be contacted by October 15 and your film title and names of director, producer and writer will be included in our print program and theater signage.
