effects boutique Brickyard VFX announced today that Cassie Hulen has been
hired as Executive Producer at the company's Santa Monica shop, teaming up
with Head of Production Diana Young Gomez.
"Cassie has an extensive background as an executive producer working with
some of the top directors and agencies in the industry," said Steve
Michaels, Managing Partner, Brickyard VFX. "We welcome her experience and
know she'll make a great addition to the Brickyard team."
Hulen joins Brickyard VFX from Anonymous Content, where she worked for the
last nine years. Originally hired as Head of Production at the company's
launch, Hulen signed directorial team Carter & Blitz and was quickly
promoted to executive producer. While at Anonymous Content, Hulen worked on
ads for brands such as Levis and Converse, as well as Monster.com's
celebrated commercial "Slots," which was honored for visual effects by the
AICP in 2008. In addition, Hulen developed strong relationships with
directors on the Gorgeous Enterprises roster, including Daniel Benmayor,
Jeff Blitz, Mac Carter, Patrick Sherman and PES, as well as such top
agencies as McCann-Erickson, BBDO, BBH, and The Martin Agency.

producer at A52, where she worked with director Andrew Douglas on the "Hand
of God" spot for Jeep. Before that, Hulen was a producer at Palomar
Pictures, where she worked on Budweiser's "Frogs" with director Gore
Verbinski and the Miller Highlife campaign for Wieden + Kennedy with
director Melodie McDaniel. Hulen also worked with HKM as a bidder and
researcher for two years, and got her start in the industry freelancing in
a variety of positions for companies such as The Artists Company, Spots
Films, and Smillie Films.
