Turner Scheduling Exec Adams Gets Promotion

Ryan Adams has been appointed to the new position of VP program and schedule operations for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang.

Adams’ new role will expand his responsibilities as the strategic scheduling lead for all program and on-air promotion operations for the networks. He also will continue to act as the primary liaison between the networks, their on-air departments, Turner Broadcasting’s network operations and Turner’s digital media technologies division.

Adams is based in Atlanta and will continue to report directly to Stacy Isenhower, senior VP of programming and scheduling for Cartoon Network and Boomerang

“In the years that I have worked with Ryan, he has consistently demonstrated expertise in his field,” said Isenhower. “In addition to building collaboration into our promo placement strategy, his most recent efforts to revamp network break structures have shown remarkable success. We look ahead to his continued achievement as we move forward with our new programming formats and on-air network re-facing.”

Adams joined Turner Broadcasting System in 1996 as a news coordinator for CNN’s Headline News. Two years later, he transferred to the entertainment side, working his way up to director of programming and scheduling within the Strategic Operations group, covering Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang.
