TOKYOPOP Appoints Licensing and Merchandise Sales Director

As the Licensing Show wraps up in New York City this week, major manga publisher TOKYOPOP Inc. announces the appointment of Kathryn Klingler to the newly created position of licensing and merchandise sales director. Klingler will develop licensing programs for key properties, including Rave Master, Stray Sheep and Initial D. She will also focus on initiatives for kids and tweens in the toy, game, apparel, back-to-school, bedding, stationery and social expressions categories.

Prior to joining TOKYOPOP, Klingler was senior director of Licensing at Primedia Enterprises, Inc., where she built Seventeen magazine into a leading fashion brand for teenage girls, and also initiated the launch of All Outdoor – a licensing program encompassing 40 outdoor magazines. Previously, she held licensing positions at Mattel and Art Impressions.

I have been searching for years for a refill or new Stray Sheep organizer that my host student brought to me from either Korea or the Japanese airport years ago. It is approximately 3 X 6 1/2 inches and it snaps. There are room for notes, telephone and address numbers, and a calendar. Please, please, do you know where I can get one in the United States? Thank you so much! Angie
