9 Story Entertainment announced that head of production Tanya Green has been promoted to VP of production at the studio. In this expanded role, Tanya will continue reporting to company president and CEO Vince Commisso.
“The fact that we’ve been able to successfully increase our production slate so dramatically over the last several years is in large part due to Tanya’s invaluable contributions,” said Commisso. “She has a tremendous ability to balance creative needs with production concerns, as well as manage complex projects and teams through tight deadlines. We are absolutely thrilled to promote Tanya to this new position and have her continue to lead our studio.”
Tanya originally joined 9 Story as Production Supervisor and was later made Head of Production in 2010. During her 5 year tenure she has led the studio through incredible growth including a production slate that has increased from 2 shows to 10, a staff that swelled from 60 to 200 and a software pipeline that went from Flash only to Flash, Toon Boom Harmony and After Effects. While at 9 Story, Tanya has overseen 23 different productions and over 450 episodes, including Almost Naked Animals, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Wild Kratts.
