Swartz Departs as VP of Original Series at Cartoon Network

Rob Swartz is leaving his job as VP of original series at Cartoon Network to return to producing, reports Deadline.com.

In three years at the network, Swartz oversaw development and programming for such Cartoon Network series as Adventure Time, Regular Show, MAD, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Generator Rex and Young Justice. He previously worked at Syfy.

With Swartz’s departure, execs Nick Wiedenfeld (comedy) and Tramm Wigzell (action) will report directly to chief content officer Rob Sorcher.
