Simon Philips Is New Managing Director of 4Kids Int’l

Simon Philips succeeds retiring Clive Hill as managing director of 4Kids Ent. Int’l Ltd. In 2003 Philips was appointed to the LIMA board of directors as the international representative, and he was formerly CEO of Licensing Dynamics Int’l (LDI), a consumer-products and media agency covering the Middle East and Mediterranean Basin.

London-based 4Kids Ent. Int’l is responsible for managing the international licensing programs for such brands as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles outside of the Americas, including license acquisition and sales, marketing and creative services.

Headquartered in New York City, 4Kids Ent. Inc. is a global provider of children’s entertainment and merchandise licensing. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries, the company provides domestic and international merchandise licensing; television, film, music and home-video production and distribution; media planning and buying; product development; and website development.
