Sesame Workshop Names New Interactive Media Biz Director
Nonprofit educational organization Sesame Workshop has named Jeffrey Fleishman director of business operations, interactive media. Fleishman will contribute to the management of many existing partnerships as well as the development of new revenue streams and distribution opportunities.
Fleishman joins Sesame Workshop following the completion of his MBA at Kellogg School of Management. Prior to attending business school, he worked in a number of development and marketing roles with startups in the wireless, media and e-commerce arenas.
Most recently, Fleishman served as VP of business development at Outercurve Technologies, where he was responsible for financial modeling and developing a new client licensing agreement. Prior to that, he served on the startup team of eAgents, Inc. (since acquired by americangreetings.com) as director of marketing and operations. There he created financial and subscriber models, negotiated media deals and helped shape the company’s strategy and product development. He also worked at Newsub Services (now Synapse Group, a subsidiary of Time Warner) as business development manager.
