ShoPro Ent., a global licensor specializing in animation, entertainment production and merchandising for such properties as Hamtaro, Inuyasha, MegaMan NT Warrior and Mirmo Zibang!, has promoted Cynthia Money to the post of VP, consumer products. The announcement follows on the heels of recently formed partnerships with Decipher, Lollytogs, Mattel, Kids’ WB! and Italian broadcast powerhouse Mediaset.
Money, who previously served as director of marketing at ShoPro, is a veteran with more than 17 years of experience working on major leading brands in the industry. Prior to joining the company, she held senior-level positions at SurfMonkey, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Winterland.
Money will be responsible for managing ShoPro’s growing roster of more than 100 licensees throughout North America, expanding the licensee network to grow the company’s retail presence and overseeing promotions, retail partnerships, public relations and marketing.
Money has been named one of the "Most Influential People in Licensing" and one of the "40 Most Powerful People in Licensing under 40" by License! Magazine.
